A. Increase Membership and Membership Participation.
B. Develop a stronger Ambassadors.
C. Maintain regular sponsored mixers and other networking events.
D. Expand Member-To-Member Benefits Program.

 GOAL # 2
 To provide a positive community image for business and promote a business-friendly
 environment in Santee and East County.

A. Street banners promoting Santee business and the educational system in Santee.
B. Develop events which showcase manufacturing and home businesses.
C. Develop and implement a "Needs Assessment Survey" for business, government and residents.
D. Enhance the external and internal visual image of the Chamber site.

 GOAL # 3
 To encourage a cooperative and favorable local government climate that promotes an
 understanding of the needs of the business community.

A. Continue to be visible at City Council meetings.
B. Meet with local elected officials quarterly and/or as necessary.
C. Determine priority of business needs and communicate them to appropriate government officials/agencies.
D. Involve government officials and staff in Chamber committees and other Chamber programs.

 GOAL # 4
 To support business issues through involvement with local and regional governments, the business
 community, and the public.

A. Continue and maintain communication network to quickly Disseminate information… possibly online FAX/e-mail network .
B. Acknowledge the City through publications from President, recognizing the City for business-friendly actions or service.
C. Apply for grant monies for businesses for projects.
D. Encourage and participate in Community Directory.
E. Develop and maintain a Chamber of Commerce Web Site.

 GOAL # 5
 To continue current, and initiate additional, programs that are mutually beneficial to the
 business community.

A. Continue the Speakers Bureau with the Santee School District.
B. Coordinate with the Santee High Schools to participate in their Career Days Program.
C. Continue participation in Academic Achievement Awards and 'Principal for A Day' Programs.
D. Continue support and participation in the Miss Santee Pageant.
