of any chamber is volunteer participation, and in order for our
Annual Plan of Action to succeed, your participation is needed.
Please take a few minutes to find your areas of interest or
expertise, then check the committee(s) on which you might wish to
serve. We understand that not all members are able to serve on a
committee initially but do encourage your participation when
possible. Send in this application and mail you check payable to
the Santee Chamber, at the above address.

Ambassadors
- A committee that works to enhance member retention and
expansion.
Visits new businesses to inform them about
the Chamber
and its activities and functions. |

Governmental
Affairs - Studies pending legislation (local, state and
federal) that affects Santee businesses and recommends policy
positions to the Board of Directors. |

Business
Expo - Plans, Coordinates, and sponsors the Chamber's Business
Expo. |
|
Public
Facilities - A long-range planning group dedicated to
assisting local government to provide necessary public facilities
to accommodate quality growth. |

Membership
- A Committee that works to increase Chamber membership. Plans and
coordinates new member drives, visits non-member businesses, helps
with retention, etc. |
|
Communications/Image
- A committee that assists in advertising sales for Chamber
publications, helps in production of copy for publications,
prepares and distributes press releases, etc. |

|
Community
Relations - Plans, coordinates, sponsors, and participates in
community activities and events, such as the Miss Santee Pageant,
the Santee Awards Night, the School
to Business Speakers Bureau,
etc.

Golf
Tournament - Our major fund raising event. This committee
plans, staffs, recruits players & gifts for this event held
every fall. |

Economic
Development - Works to enhance the economic well-being of the
Santee business community
