2008 Miss Santee and Miss Santee Teen Pageant |

Miss
Santee 2008 - Heather DePriest (right) After day filled with interviews,
speeches, evening gown competition and impromptu questions the 2007 queens
pass on the traditions and leadership roles of their community. A total of
over 35 young women from the east county entered the pageant in hopes of
becoming their new city ambassador. Honorable Mayor Randy Voepel and
Council Members John Minto and Dave Allen were in attendance and formally
presented the winners to their cities.
The winners were: Miss Santee 2008, Heather DePriest Heather DePriest, Miss Santee 2008 is a 19-year-old sophomore attending San Diego Christian College. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing basketball and volleyball and hopes to become a Sports Reporter. She also plays basketball for her school! Lizzie Lingasin, Miss Santee Teen 2008 is a 15-year-old sophomore at West Hills High School. She would like to become a fashion photographer or a creative writing teacher. Lizzie enjoys soccer, track and reading. She is also the eldest of 7 children!
